BEng (Hons) Cyber Security

The BEng (Hons) Cyber Security programme equips students with the technical knowledge and practical skills to protect computer systems, networks, and digital information from cyber threats. It focuses on secure system design, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and information security.

This programme provides a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and modern computing technologies. Students study network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, digital forensics, cloud security, secure software development, and cyber risk management. Through practical labs, industry-focused projects, and real-world scenarios, graduates develop the expertise required for careers in cybersecurity, network security, digital forensics, penetration testing, and information security management.

Successful completion of HSC, A Levels, or an equivalent qualification.
IELTS 6.0 overall (with no band less than 5.5) or an equivalent English language qualification.
